Enjoy today
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Love the ones who don't just because you can. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. Forgive quickly and completely. God never said life would be easy. He just promised it would be worth it.

Happy First Day Of Summer. May you enjoy the Summer Solstice.
![]() Officially in the Northern Hemisphere, summer solstice begins on Jun 21 2010 at 7:28 AM EDT and in the UK, on June 21, 2010 at 11:28 UT As a major celestial event, the Summer Solstice results in the longest day and the shortest night of the year. The Northern Hemisphere celebrates in June, but the people on the Southern half of the earth have their longest summer day in December. I got these official facts from the "official fun fact site" online. Year round I tend to celebrate each day as though it was the summer solstice. I like the days to stay light as long as possible. I tend to be active longer during the day and my nights of sleep are short. Each day we have is certainly a gift. Sometimes they come in special packaging and the Summer Solstice is one such special day. Sunday, June 20

For under $20 I feel so much more like Judy.
I miss not getting a tan and my long hair and feeling like myself. Thanks to Maybelline XXL Pro Volume Waterproof Mascara my eyelashes look very nice. One end lengthens and the other adds the color and volume. My eyes seem expressive again. Mascara shouldn't create sparkle but I have been told my eyes sparkle like they used to; Nice, very nice.

My sister Wendy shared that Ever Glow by Ocean Potion Skincare (available in a big bottle for under $6 at Walmart) gently adds color to your skin without streaks or orange color. It works. It looks natural and now I have that sun-kissed look without baking my skin; wonderful. My hair is growing back and now has reached the inch length all over and in some places longer. It is curly and frizzy. Thanks to a suggestion from a friend I purchased a little travel flat iron for my hair. It is only about 6 inches long and it does a tremendous job of straighten, smoothing out my hair. In our Florida humidity I am amazed that it lasts for most of the day. Of course, when I ride in my convertible with the top down it frizzes right up but that is to be expected and I have a baseball cap for just those occasions. For under $20 I have gotten a few items that make me feel that the reflection in my mirror is the return of Judy. I no longer look the same as I did before BUT I am more comfortable with the me I see. Sunday, June 13

People need people.
"We don't make it alone in this world. We're lucky that there are people placed in our path to guide us, protect us and touch our lives so that we can get through it all, one day at a time."

Important Things To Remember
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep - you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace - you are among the 8% of the world's wealthy. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness - you are more blessed than millions who will not survive this week. If you never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation - you are ahead of 500 million people in the world. If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death - you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. If your parents are still alive and married - you are very rare. If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful - you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not. If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder - you are blessed because you can offer a healing touch. If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all. I don't know the origin of these important things to remember. I got a copy of it when I was visiting Rogers Christmas House in Brooksville, Florida a couple of years ago. I came across it today and wanted to share it. I hope you have a terrific week overflowing with countless blessings and riches. |
