Technology is a terrific way to communicate, however like all things wonderful there is a drawback, no face to face contact. You can't see into a person's eyes, it can be all too easy to misinterpret what is being said. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we all had Superman's X-Ray Powers? Then we could look into a person's heart and find these lyrics are true: "If you could read my heart you would know without exception, I always had the best of intentions." 0 comments Sunday, August 22
Khaki, Denim or Black
As I have traveled across the country, I have noticed that the majority of people here in the United States seem to have a wardrobe that contains khaki, denim or black.

Thousands upon thousands of magazines line the shelves of stores everywhere filled with pages and pages of different photos and tips on what to wear. Truth is that although people may have "some" clothes in their closets that might mirror the pictures, the great majority of men and women are wearing khaki, denim or black. What about you? What colors do you have in your wardrobe, red, white and blue? Or do you wear khaki, denim and/or black? Wishing you a wrinkle free stylish week of good health and fun. 0 comments Sunday, August 8

It is said that aerodynamically bees aren't supposed to fly. Fortunately no one told them. Refuse to let an old person move into your mind. Fun to think about. I am traveling again this week, Buffalo and Albany. I'll post again soon. In the meantime, I hope your life fills with moments that create happy memories. I love that you stop by and read my blog. You feel helpless to help those you care about that are facing challenges. You find yourself feeling like you are on the outside looking in and the people whose lives you wish to share have their curtains closed. You are doing the responsible thing, that it is the route that provides the best opportunity for money and security but it doesn't provide you a sense of satisfaction. It doesn't fit. You feel like a whiner when you send a message into cyberspace asking what do you do when.... Erase, erase. Today is a brand new day full of possibilities. I think I will go eat some cheese and fruit to go with my whine. 0 comments |
