I have lived an extraordinary life. I am living an extraordinary life. I am so blessed.
It amazes me all the places I have seen, the "baskin robbins" of assorted people I have met and the tremendous variety of experiences I have had and emotions I have felt.

Truly, without question, my life has been and is an adventure. Lucky me to have had this opportunity. I never quite fit. Most of my plans and dreams took detours and required Plan B. That has just been part of it. I am blessed and filled with joy at how lucky I am. My regrets are only that I hurt and disappointed some people along the way. I can honestly say, that was never my intention. I don't think there is anything in my life I would change however there are some times in my life that I wish I had a "do over". I believe when we know better, when we understand things, when we learn more, we can do better. I think it is cool that Charles Dickens said it best in 1859 and it still applies to people living today: “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period." Life is a gift. I'm glad I got such a big full one. |
