When I have been in the grocery store recently, I have seen Spring Breakers checking out and noticed a pattern.
Teenagers are buying soft drinks, cereal,chips and cookies.
Adults (college age) are buying the same things but add beer and water.
Families are buying the same and adding sandwich fixings, to the soft drinks, water and beer, cereal, milk, chips and cookies.
Every group also goes two doors down and gets pizza to take back to their rooms.
Spring Breakers and the NCAA Men's Basketball playoffs are helping our economy on St Pete Beach. Hotels, restaurants, souvenior stores, putt putt and even our grocery stores are benefiting. Just the boost we need.
