During my life time I have made many mistakes, wrong choices and not always succeeded when attempting something. That is probably why I love the quote above by Peter Drucker and the following quotes.
Each of them serves as a reminder that life isn't about the oops or failures. It is about the trying, learning, daring to take a risk and exploring possibilities.
Thomas Edison's is one of my all time favorite responses when someone was trying to make him feel bad. "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
Theodore Roosevelt gets credit for this one. "It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer of deeds could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes short again and again, who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause, who at best knows achievement and who at worst if he fails at least fails daring greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory or defeat."
Dare to keep doing. Be encouraged. Sometimes expanding your comfort zone can lead you to astounding success.
