It is almost a national pastime to "Second Guess" others, situations and ourselves. Being an arm chair quarterback isn't the immanent domain of the sports fan. People do it everyday. It is easy to judge what you would have done in a certain situation or if you were them you would have behaved differently.

It is "Second Guessing" that makes us look over our shoulder at the past and think
"I should have done this" or "If only I done that" or "I should have recognized the signs" or "I shouldn't have been so naive." We can beat ourselves up for years second quessing BUT the past is gone and we can't change it no matter how much we may wish we could. We can only learn from it and make the most of today and tomorrow.

It would be wonderful if we could be as forgiving of ourselves as we are of others and if we could give ourselves the "Second Chances" we generously allow others.

My wish for you today is to give yourself a "Second Chance" silence the internal dialogue that runs through your mind beating you up. Today be nice to yourself as well as to others.
