The atmosphere was crazy. It was a sell-out. It was exciting. Not only did I get to see the Rays win but also see Ken Griffey Jr (sure to be in the Hall of Fame someday) and Jim Thome (one of my long time favorites). I was glad they didn't show their enormous skills yesterday because I hope the Rays go all the way.
Celebrating the Rays success is extra special to me because it is flavored with family. Jim, Carol, Jake and Jonah saw them play in person when they visited me this summer. Tom, Shelia, Hope and Noah know David Price and his family. He is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
It is exciting to witness the team's climb from worst to first. They play again today and although I won't be in the Trop watching them in person, I will be rooting for them. Go Rays!
