George Logan died this evening. He passed away peacefully in his sleep.
For many years he was a Tennessee State Trooper. He truly loved one woman throughout his life. His heart belonged to his wife and mother of his sons Ginny. They were married over 52 years. When she fell ill, George became a loving caretaker. It was a role we didn't think he would do well but he excelled. After Ginny died, George was given a blessed miracle when he became reacquainted with Bertha. They were able to share some precious time together before she died. In his last days he found companionship with a lovely woman named Betty.
He was a strong, determined, manly man cut from the same cloth as one of his heroes John Wayne.
He will be missed.
Arrangements have not yet been made for his final resting place here on earth but I am sure that he is enjoying the welcome celebration they are having for him in heaven.
