This morning the news was overflowing with weather related disasters. The West Coast is dealing with hurricane force winds, floods and mud slides. Homes, roads and bridges have been
destroyed. People have been rerouted, detoured and all too many have lost their homes, cars and possessions. The Mid-West and Northeast are digging out from snow. Just staying warm is a challenge.
The power of Mother Nature is beyond description. There is a randomness to what happens around the world. Even our advanced technology has been unable to
predict what will happen and prevent devastation. We need to respect the power of nature. When we say our thank you prayers we need to remember that we need to be thankful for a nice day. All too often when in our hectic days we focus on what needs to be done and what isn't going well and we overlook that we have been given the gift of a nice day.
