We aren't milk cartons.
It is very important to remember that people do not come with an expiration code.

Don't give your power away, the power you have to live each day with passion, enthusiasm and hope. Stories about people who survived against unbelievable odds or died unexpectedly are published everyday. They fill the pages of newspapers, magazines and books. Lance Armstrong stands as an example of someone who survived cancer despite his doctor's prognostinations. Tornadoes, fires, accidents and unforecastable disasters snuff out lives without warning each day. Some people live their lives like there will be no tomorrow. Others invest their time dreaming and planning for tomorrow. Everyone has to choose their own style. Much depends on personal circumstances, responsibilities, and the lives that are entwined with theirs. To the special people in my life, who are battling health challenges, please remember doctors are human beings. They aren't blessed with the unfailing ability to predict. They can only do their best based on their knowledge, previous cases and experiences. Don't give your power away, the power you have to live each day with passion, enthusiasm and hope. We aren't milk cartons. We aren't stamped with some predetermined date when we will expire. Start each day with a thank you prayer. Live each day with passion, enthusiasm and hope. Take time to help others. The world is filled with limitless possibilities. |
