When hurricane's are approaching people prepare and hopefully evacuate if the storm is thought to be a category 3,4, or a deadly 5. This winter Mother Nature is taking lives with snow and ice. This morning as I type this blog, the news is reporting that 21 people have died in car accidents as a result of this dangerous weather.
It occurred to me that sometimes the devastation from earthquakes, ice, snow, torrential rain, wind, fog, and fires from drought conditions don't get much attention.
Today as I use electricity, am able to wash with fresh clean hot water, and drive my car, I will be thankful and not take it for granted.

Every person, in every section of our country and world faces the occasional fury of Mother Nature. It seems especially important to appreciate the days and nights that are free of weather complications.
