I heard a very true fact stated on the Dr. Phil Show today. It was made by his son Jay.
"You are not the only influence in your children's life so you better be the best influence in their life."
I have always thought my sons were very fortunate to have great friends. They had an eclectic group of friends. A high percentage of their class went to college. Had they been in the graduating class the year before or after perhaps they may have been influenced differently.
I have witnessed my sons and daughter in-laws with their children. I cannot express how proud I am of the relationship they have already established with their young children. They will be a stellar influence. They are not only good role models, they are great listeners and they are fair.
