I am in the process of downsizing and going through my "stuff". I discovered a paper that I received at a workshop and love it. Thought I would share; it is entitled:

Important Things To Remember
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the millions who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest. torture, or death you are more blessed than 3 billion people in the world.
If your parents are still alive and still married you are very rare.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder you are blessed because you can offer a healing touch.

Maybe I should have saved more, maybe I should have bought a house when I had the opportunity, there are lots of things that if I had chosen to do them in the past they would have changed my present. Thankfully, I am okay with my present and know that it isn't too late to take a leap of faith and take risks.

This is my dream home. Adjacent to it will be a garage to store my dream kayaks and equipment and car. I would also have a little writer's studio, a mystical fantasy garden area, and a nearby lake or water to go kayaking.

That is the great thing about a "dream home" your imagination can be your architect.
