Too bad I don't have a hose that reaches the 4th floor.
I started to clean the balcony today. Most of my plants are in critical condition and there are buckets of water and lots of dirt. I swept and cleaned as best I could. This weekend we will take items down to the car wash area and hose them off. We will use a wet-vac to suck up the water as we scrub the tiles. The trick will be taking the buckets of water down to the main floor and dumping them outside by the car wash without spilling them enroute.

I am glad that we faired so well. The turtle nests on the beach were not so fortunate. Hopefully, picking up eggs and burying them and restating areas will help save some. Storms affect more than what initially comes to mind. 0 comments Monday, June 25
This is Pass-A-Grille
I take my sons and their families here when they visit. Unfortunately, for many a tornado hit it last night. The clean-up started today despite high wins and flooding. I am praying that the gusts stop and there is no more rain. It would be a blessing if Debby would dissolve without causing anymore harm or hurting anymore people.

Heading out to walk
Survived Zumba last night. It is the "funnest" exercise ever. Now I am heading out to walk. With all the rain we have been having I will be puddle stumping. Hope those that visit my blog have a fantastic Friday and wonderful weekend.

Celebrating my life!
On days like today when I feel a little achy and my energy is waning. I remind myself that I am alive. I am a survivor. I have no reason to be a winer. I have a wonderful blessed life. I have more flexibility in it than most other people. I get to write. I get to do it at my pace setting my own deadline. I am supported by loved ones and currently live in a home with an awesome view.

Maybe it is the cloudy weather and sitting in one place for an extended period of time that has me feeling a little droopy today. It is a gift to be alive and able to feel droopy! Sometimes you need to stop what you are doing and celebrate life. It is then that I find it a perfect time for a heartfelt thank you prayer of sincere gratitude for my life and all the wonderful possibilities I haven't yet discovered. 0 comments Sunday, June 3

My balcony took a beating from the weather last night.
I still can't figure out how the bottom of the chair ended up under a planter and it looks like one of my plants nearly went through the bars of the balcony. I don't know if it could have survived a 4 story fall. The plastic draining trays that were under the plants, went airborne. When it stops raining I will go and see if I can find them. In the meantime I have saved the plants and fixed the chair. Thank goodness, IKEA makes sturdy little chairs that can be reassembled easily.
