Clarence is an angel, so he must be right!
![]() If you are feeling overwhelmed, or insignificant, you must remember Clarence's words. It is often harder for us to realize our own importance or value to others. We are each blessed to have our lives despite the challenges that we may face. Your contributions to other people's lives may go unnoticed by you however YOU do make a difference. Monday, November 26
Author unkown but the sentiment is true.
"Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air, but only for one second without hope.

Thank you Tom
My son called over the weekend and told me that he had just seen a movie that made him think of me.

Today I treated myself to seeing it. It was magical and awesome. Best of all, it made me thrilled to think that seeing this movie, filled with fantasy and wonder, reminded Tom and my grandchildren of me. It was like getting a long distance hug. I am still smiling hours since I left the theatre. The movie was great but mostly my high is knowing that my son gets me. Now how many sons actually understand the essence of their moms?!? Thankfully, at least 2! My boys, my grown men, for better or worse seem to love me "just as I am." That is the best Thanksgiving blessing of all. If you are looking for some magic and whimsy this Thanksgiving, go to see... Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium ![]() Monday, November 19
Marvelous Monday
My voice has returned. My energy and ambition have begun to make themselves available again. My nose is running less. The sun is shining. The temperatures are warming back up. All in all the ingredients are there for a marvelous Monday.

Medicinal words. A compliment to cherish.

You're going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don't try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human." Anthony Robbins, Inspirational Author and Speaker
Fighting a cold, YUCK!
![]() It is a postcard perfect day today but here I sit working sniffing and blowing my nose in my pjs. I am glad talking isn't a requirement today because my voice sounds more like a cartoon character than like a woman. Thankfully, it is just a cold and not the flu. Snot seems to have replaced my active brain cells. I wish all my readers good health and please have some extra fun today. Monday, November 12
Patriotic Veteran's Day Slideshow
I hope you invest 10 minutes to view this video. It is a day to remember. It is a day to say thank you to all who serve or have served and those who prayed and waited for their return. 0 comments Sunday, November 11

I am very excited
Today my book has become available through Barnes and Noble. As I understand it, that means people are now able to go into their local bookstore and order my book. You no longer have to order it online.

I am thrilled that there are several reviews posted on amazon and look forward to seeing if any appear on Barnes and Noble. Now that it is available directly through bookstores I can begin to schedule workshops and signings. It is an excellent day for dreaming about possibilities. Wednesday, November 7
Depressing statistics from Publishers Weekly
950,000 titles out of 1.2 million tracked by Nielsen Bookscan sold fewer than 99 copies

Another 200,000 sold fewer than 1,000 copies Only 25,000 sold more than 5,000 copies The average book in America sells about 500 copies Only 10 books sold more than a million copies Fewer than 500 sold more than 100,000 Nearly 200,000 new titles are published each year Good thing I wrote Sell More as a tool to help entrepreneurs develop strategies that will maximize their company's visibility, sales and profitability and not as an instrument to attain personal wealth. It wasn't written with the goal in mind that it would be on the Best Seller's List. On the other hand, I have never lived an "average" life so I hope my sales exceed more than 500 copies. More than anything, I hope the ideas contained in this little sales and marketing book prove helpful to people growing their business. It would be awesome to have it ignite the reader's own creative imagination and as a result they Sell More! Saturday, November 3
Judy aka Mz Davinci where are you?
![]() I packed my bags hurriedly last Tuesday and have been on the go ever since. Happily, I have collected much needed hugs along the way. I have seen a kaleidoscope of colors thanks to Mother Nature painting the trees with beautiful hues of gold and crimson. In the wee small hours, the time changes and unhappily it will get dark earlier. That doesn't bode well for me since I am solar powered. I probably won't be able to travel as far as I might if the sun was shining like it does in August. I never enjoy putting my family in my rearview mirror and time was too short to visit everyone with which I would have loved to share time. Still this detour was unexpected and a true gift and overflowing pleasure. I may need to stop and get some M & Ms as I drive back towards Florida. As my dad once told me, it is difficult to cry when you are eating the green M &Ms, they are magical. |
