Incredible Day
I woke up in my own pretty bed. A real treat after being on the road so much.

Got caught up in a made for TV movie, happily the child that was abducted was returned safely. Took a great bath. Got caught up on e-mails. Had breakfast at the beach. So beautiful. Went for an invigorating walk (4 1/2 miles). Enjoyed the Mustang-Shelby-Ford Show downtown. A wide assortment of fast cars. From there I visited a natural food store and treated myself to a new flavor apple. A Galan apple, said to be the kind that Eve used to tempt Adam. I also tasted a beverage made with assorted berries and seaweed plus bee pollen. The appearance was gross - the taste was similar to drinking a fig newton. On to Tampa and the Tatoofest. Oh my gosh, I haven't seen anything like this since I attended a Star Trek Convention at the St. Pete Hilton years ago. Only these people weren't wearing costumes. I confess the artwork tatooed into their skin was often iincredibly beautiful and inticate. Next stop Oldsmar Days. Collector cars, arts and crafts, carnival rides and music. A philly steak sandwich and fries under a beautiful blue sky as the music played. Jersey Girl, yes next I went to the movies. A nice show. Nothing awesome but nice. Came out just in time to see the sneak preview of Walking Tall. Have nno fear the original version is forever safe. this was okay but not real good. A walk though the mall turned out to be fortunate. I found the belt, tank tops and heels I had been searching for and all were on sale. Topped off the day with an ice cream cone and viewing the planets in the clear moonlit sky. Truly an incrdible fun-filled day. 0 comments Friday, March 5
Poor Enunciation Leads To Overflowing Smiles
The message on my phone yesterday said to have a terrific Thursday. My wonderful grandson Noah called and thought I said something about birthday.

Hearing him on my voicemail as he proclaimed it wasn't a birthday and his exhuberance as he made it evident he thought I was a little crazy, was so much fun to hear. If that wasn't enough to put a huge smile on my heart, my son Tom got on the phone and said they were thinking of me because it had been a beautiful day and a full moon night. Superman has kryptonite that makes him weak and takes away his strength. Hearing from my family invigorates me and makes me strong. Congratulations to Noah and Hope and their AWANA groups for doing so excellent last week. Congratulations to Jake for going in the pot, big boy style, and thank you for calling to share. 0 comments |
